Through our ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) programmes at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, we form strong partnerships with not-for-profits and advocate groups, such as community and environmental organisations, in order to bring together our collective networks and expertise to achieve greater, long-term impact in communities around the world. Tackling the ongoing concerns around youth employment is at the heart of our UK community work.

We recently formed a partnership with upReach, a not-for-profit that provides personalised programmes of support to undergraduates from less-privileged backgrounds, to broaden their career horizons, raise aspirations, and help them to explore their career options whilst developing their social and cultural capital.

upReach helps students build knowledge, soft skills, networks and work experience. Bank of America Merrill Lynch supports these efforts through exclusive Insight Days, pre-application support, mock interviews and mentoring opportunities.

“We are very proud to support upReach and look forward to building students’ knowledge and networks, and encouraging them to apply for internships and full-time positions at our company. Together, we hope to extend great opportunities to some of the best young talent in the country, and in doing so, advance a shared commitment to social mobility.” Neeha Khurana, international Talent executive at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
