How long have you been with the bank?

I have been with the bank for one and a half years as a Technology Program Associate.

Why did you choose to start your career at Bank of America?

When Bank of America came to my university, they presented themselves incredibly well. I was impressed with the technology employees and the overall benefits of being an employee at the bank. They are leaders in the technology space, and I was looking to get concrete experience in this industry.

What do you like best about your career at Bank of America?

The best thing about my job is the wonderful, intelligent people that I get to work with on a daily basis. They are always so supportive and helpful.

Explain your typical day

My typical day on the job would be working with Quartz, coding and other technology-based platforms and programs. I learn new things every day, and interact with new users and customers. Each day is different, but I enjoy the variety within my daily projects.

It’s a great feeling going home at the end of the day knowing that in some small way, I helped make a difference.

What’s the most rewarding part of your job?

The most rewarding part of my job is being appreciated by my colleagues and our clients. My bosses and colleagues recognize the work that I do, and it feels good to receive such positive feedback; it truly boosts your confidence.

What kind of training have you received?

Since I joined directly from college, we had a new associate orientation program that helped us get up to speed and prepare for our first day on the desk. We also have continuous learning opportunities and programs that you can sign up for and take on a weekly basis. The training and support is ongoing and an important part of your career at Bank of America.
