What persuaded you to work for Bank of America?
I joined Bank of America because of its great focus on people.
Bank of America offers structured onboarding training, selective training curriculum, and well-organized cross business lines sharing. There are also plenty of opportunities to learn different products and businesses when working with different stakeholders. When I know the company I work for is investing in my development, I know I am making the right decision.
Bank of America’s focus on people is beyond its teammates. Before joining, I knew the bank highly valued contributing to the community. Currently, I am working for CSR team in Beijing where we give back to our community by volunteering, charity donations, and supporting NGOs. I am proud of the impact we are making, which keeps me motivated.
What does a typical day look like for you?
There is no typical day for the corporate banking team which makes my job more exciting and fascinating.
As a corporate banking associate, my days are client-centric. On some days I spend time with bankers in client meetings where we discuss financial plans and business operation to explore deal opportunities.
On other days I spend time with product teams and back office teams to align our capabilities, benchmark industry practices, and strategize client pitches. I also conduct industry deep dives, regulatory policy studies, and product reviews to be better equipped for client discussion.
