
How would you describe your job to a friend?
Protecting the bank by assessing the security of web applications used by the bank, identifying cyber risks and reporting them to relevant stakeholders.
How do you describe the culture at the bank?
Culture-wise, we’ve created an open environment where every voice matters, and employees go out of their way to impart knowledge even just for the sake of sharing. Many of us come from diverse backgrounds and make the effort to connect with each other regardless of title or position.
In one word, how would you describe Bank of America?
Robust.

Do you work in a global team?
Most definitely. The majority of teams in GIS work across regions to keep the bank protected. My current teammates are based in the U.S. and I interface with them every week. We work closely together on reviewing application risks, and support each other across the globe!
What advice would you give to students?
Don’t let failure get you down, and focus on your strengths instead. Also, cherish the time you have as a student and continue to be inquisitive and ask questions. Find passion in, and out of, school, as it may materialize into something you can bring to the table in your future career.
