
What persuaded you to work for Bank of America?
When I was looking at various companies one of the areas that really appealed to me was the sense of inclusion at Bank of America. As a military veteran that was recently transitioning into corporate America from graduate school the bank’s commitment to hiring military veterans was very appealing.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Working with my team and all of the teammates across the enterprise is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. I can truly say the people at Bank of America are some of the most knowledgeable, driven, hardworking and inclusive people I’ve ever had a chance to work with.

What skills are important for a Business Control Specialist?
A strong background in data analytics is helpful in my role. That said, coming to work every day with a strong work ethic and humility are skills that will serve you best.
What do you enjoy doing in your personal time?
I’m passionate about LGBT rights and volunteer on multiple fronts in the fight for equal rights. I’m also an animal rights advocate and volunteer at the humane society. I love to travel and sail and, as a prior Coast Guardsman, I love the ocean.
What advice would you give to students?
Be yourself, challenge the status quo, and don’t ever settle.
