What persuaded you to work for Bank of America?

I had a great experience during my summer internship with Bank of America. Everyone on my team was supportive and encouraging. Even though I was an intern, people treated me like a full time analyst and valued my ideas and opinions. I just knew that I wanted to be part of the team.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

What I enjoy the most about my job is that I get to work with various product partners including but not limited to GTS, FICC and the capital markets team. We work closely to bring out the best solutions and services to our clients. Working with different teams from different countries helps me understand various banking products and broaden my horizons within the finance industry.

What skills are important for a corporate banking analyst?

One of the most important skills is communication. We also spend a lot of time with clients. Therefore, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is one of the key responsibilities in corporate banking. It is important to truly understand each client’s needs and deliver Bank of America’s platform effectively.

How does the bank support your development?

What advice would you give to students?

Don’t limit yourself in one particular industry. Explore and experience various fields to find your fit. Once you are sure, be proactive and take advantage of networking and the bank’s internship programs. This will allow you to have a better understanding and hands-on work experience.
